Planer Incubator Management Software (PIMS) Installation Package

Two installers are provided in this package:

1. Setup_PIMS_Kiosk.ps1
2. CT37_BT37PIMS_windows-x64_*_*_*.exe

Which installer you use depends on the way in which you intend to use the application. The two options are described below.

I want to use this PC primarily to run PIMS

In this situation you will probably want the application to start automatically without requiring the user to log in. In this case run the Setup_PIMS_Kiosk.ps1 installer. The installer will provide the option for you to add a user specifically to run PIMS. This user will be logged in automatically when the PC starts. This is commonly referred to as kiosk mode.

1. In Windows file explorer, right click on the Setup_PIMS_Kiosk.ps1 file.
2. Select Run with PowerShell.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

I want to run other applications as well as PIMS

In this situation you will probably want to install PIMS as a conventional application.

1. Double click on the CT37_BT37PIMS_windows-x64_*_*_*.exe installer program.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions.
