The “X” series has a beveled tip for a sharper, angled biopsy of blastomeres and samples. Each tip is fire polished to reduce damage to the cell membrane. Models with inner diameters of 20 and 25 µm are ideal for trophectoderm (TE) biopsy. There is no narrowing in the bend to minimize likelihood of damage to the blastomere in case it is sucked through.
Also available with flat tip (“Z” series).
